Thanks to a merciless reviewer, your copy of Murphid, when it ships, will be even more bug-free. Our best agents have been dispatched to resolve the issues that prevented the game from passing the certification testing stage. More work for us means more fun for you, so it’s a good news. Happy to say that Murphid is currently being grilled by peers in certification testing. Unless they find huge gaping holes in quality, the game will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace really, really soon. All appendages crossed. Meanwhile, a few more screenshots.
There’s no way anything is accomplished, or perfect, or flawless. If instead of time we had eternity, we’d have a chance to develop every item in the world to its ideal state. Which is another way to say we’d have no things (including no games).
Anyway, we have some rush-free time now to polish the game yet a bit more, which is pure luck. Here’s another shot, this time from the High scores screen:
While taking screenshots, I discovered a nice award exploit: pausing the game and idling it for a while unlocks a few awards. This will be fixed for the final release. On the upside, the glitch inspired another award, called “Get a Life”: to earn it, you’ll have to stare at the “Pause” screen for 1 hour, no blinking. We’ll show all Murphid awards in coming weeks.
